We all know about the fight or flight response to perceived danger so we know that fear serves us, and we respond appropriately.
𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘹𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵/𝘧𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘪𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘴. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯.
Your brain is protecting you from something. But you get so caught up in the moment, in the panic that it is hard to rationalise and work out why you feel so anxious.
𝘽𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚, 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣! 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙭𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪.
To work out that reason you need to calm down, not just in the moment but to give your body and mind a chance to really slow down and gain clarity. To look at your life from a different perspective, to analyse what you are doing and why. You need find the source of the anxiety and either remove it from your life or change it.
